Finding myself

I became a mother at 21. My life in B.D. (Before daughters) consisted mostly of reading. Reading Nancy Drew, Harry Potter, school books, anything really. I loved to read and I lived my life entirely surrounded by my books and my friends that were as secluded from the knowledge of the real world as I. I never really made an attempt to try new things because I knew what I was good at, school.

I graduated from college with a B.A. in History at 19, got married at 20, and had my first daughter at 21, I had my second at 23, and my third at 26. I thought I knew what I was good at being a mom. Until recently.

I have started a new journey of self discovery. I am now going to attempt a new project every week, until I find something I feel is my 'thing'. I have realized that there has to be something that is mine. School is not my 'thing' it is just one thing that I am good at. Being a mom is not my 'thing', it is something that I give to my girls all day and all night.

So watch out for my newest adventures.
